Bohemian Environmental Justice Film Festival
The Bohemian Environmental Justice Film Festival (BEFF) is a festival all about the stories of people and communities on the front lines of the fight against environmental catastrophe.
The third edition of the festival will take place in January 2026 – see you there!
About the Festival
Held at Dalymount Park in 2022, BEFF became the first festival of its kind, focusing on environmental injustices around the world and bringing together Irish and international filmmakers, storytellers, activists, and decision-makers for various screenings and event.
In 2023, in collaboration with the Irish Film Institute, BEFF screened How to Blow Up a Pipeline followed by in-depth discussions about direct action and climate justice. Join us in the new year to continue growing this inspiring festival.
In 2022, BEFF was grant-supported by Oatley, Creative Ireland, and Dublin City Council.
The festival is currently supported through sponsorships.
