Know Your Environmental Rights

Environmental rights mean everyone has the right to live in a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

In Dublin 7, through the project survey, key concerns in our community included housing, illegal dumping, access to green spaces, poor infrastructure, and air quality. Knowing our collective rights is the first step to understanding where to go for help and how to take action.

About the Project

Know Your Environmental Rights brings together Bohemian Football Club and the Centre for Environmental Justice at Community Law and Mediation, an independent, community focused law centre, to tackle environmental issues in our area.

The aim was to understand community concerns and create resources that help Bohs members and the wider community to realise and exercise their environmental rights.

Need help with a local issue?

Free legal advice clinics are also now available with Community Law and Mediation for Bohemian members and the community. These clinics provide guidance around the environment, housing, social welfare, employment law, children and young people, and other general queries.
This project was grant-supported by the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission.
